Photographs made by Native American youth, ages eight through sixteen, in Arizona, New Mexico, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota. "Absent are the cliched images of Native Americans; instead [these photographs] offer an unrivaled opportunity to see and read about a variety of Indian concerns and interests."--The catalogue. Photographs show the natural and built environment, the photographers' friends and families, and other aspects of their daily lives. Many photographs show the photographers in the project.
